PROFI CREDIT lent CZK 2.7 billion to its clients, 26 percent up on the last year
The group obtained a licence for administering consumer loans in Romania in October
Pardubice, 29th October, 2007. Over the third quarter-year, the financial group Profireal Group has provided altogether CZK 2.7 billion to its clients in the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia, which is 26% more than in the previous year. Especially the summer months were extremely successful, "for example in August we recorded a 54% growth in the volume of loans and credits provided in the Czech Republic, added David Chour, Chairman of the Board of Profireal, a.s..
Profireal has provided the biggest volume of loans and credits in the Czech Republic. The clients borrowed for more than CZK 1.44 billion here. Last year it was CZK 1.16 billion, which means a 24% growth has been achieved. In light of growth alone, an even better performance has been achieved by Profireal in Poland, where the growth figure reached 39% and the clients borrowed total worth of CZK 551 million. The value of loans and credits provided in Slovakia reached a level of CZK 656 million, meaning 15% up measured year-to-year. In Bulgaria, where Profireal has been offering credits since the start of this year, altogether 1,200 clients negotiated credits, representing a total volume of CZK 43 million.
The financial group Profireal Group received a license from the Romanian National Bank in October, authorising it to provide loans and credits. "Romania has thus become the fifth country that we are entering. At present, a process of hiring employees and of establishing regional head offices is in full swing. We would wish to offer our first credits in the Romanian market in December," David Chour introduced his company's objectives in Romania.
Profireal Group is a multinational financial group that specialises in financial services. The division Profireal operates in the area of granting loans and credits, both to the individual and corporate sectors. It has enjoyed a remarkable expansion over the recent five years. After the opening of its branch in Slovakia in the year 2001, there followed a launch of loan-selling activities in Poland in the year 2004 and, at the end of the year 2006, Profireal provided its first loan also in Bulgaria. The division Profidebt deals with surrenders and administration of retail claims and is active in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. Since 2004, Profireal has been a member of the association SOLUS that administrates a register of debtors, through which the members may verify the creditworthiness of their loan applicants. Profireal was initiated into the Czech Leasing and Financial Association in April 2007.
